Director of Sales & Operations (Residential Home Services - Roofing & Siding) Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Director of Sales & Operations to lead our in-home sales team and oversee key operational functions. This role is ideal for a proven leader with experience managing consultative, appointment-based home improvement sales teams in industries such as roofing, siding, windows, bathrooms, HVAC, or other residential services. This position requires a strong background in in-home presentations, outside sales management, business development, and operational leadership , with the ability to scale revenue while maintaining an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities * Develop and execute comprehensive in-home sales strategies to expand market share and achieve revenue targets in residential and light commercial markets. * Lead, coach, and manage an outside sales team conducting in-home presentations , including ride-alongs, training, and weekly performance reviews. * Establish and enforce clear KPIs, accountability standards, and sales processes to drive consistent performance. * Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, partners, and referral sources through effective negotiation and consultative selling practices. * Oversee operational workflows to ensure smooth handoffs from sales to production and a best-in-class customer experience. * Collaborate closely with marketing to align lead generation efforts with sales goals and territory strategy. * Utilize CRM and reporting tools to track activity, analyze performance, and guide strategic decisions. * Monitor industry trends, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning within the home services market. Requirements * Proven leadership experience in in-home, outside sales , preferably within home services such as roofing, siding, windows, bathrooms, remodeling, or similar industries. * Demonstrated success managing and scaling a sales team * Strong operational mindset with experience building processes, tracking KPIs, and holding teams accountable. * High level of comfort with CRM systems, reporting tools, and performance dashboards. * Exceptional communication, coaching, and customer-first leadership skills. * Ability to lead from the front while fostering a culture of trust, ownership, and teamwork. * Must provide references demonstrating sales leadership success.
