We are a family-owned and operated flooring store serving the Bay Area for 63 years. Our business is based on repeat customers and client referrals. We are looking for a sales administrator/ administrative assistant with exceptional customer service and communication skills. You would be the first impression of our business both on the phone and in person and your duties will include processing a high volume of product orders, processing invoices for all sales transactions, taking phone calls from customers, communicating internally important feedback from customers, and supporting the sales team with general operations. Requirements: * Sales administrative experience * Flooring or Interior design experience required * Strong communication skills including handwriting and spelling * Must possess a positive and friendly personality * Ability to multitask and work in a busy, fast paced environment * High organizational skills and detail oriented * Proficient in Microsoft 365 * Quick books knowledge preferred * Must have a valid drivers license and auto insurance * Must be able to lift flooring samples of up to 15 lbs * References required * Must be willing to pass a background check This is a full time position and we are looking for someone willing and eager to learn the flooring business and eventually contribute to sales. We offer a highly competitive hourly rate with future commissions available for the right motivated and reliable candidate.
