Part Time $20-$25, DOE We want to be fair, but do not like commission structure 3-4 Days per week, must be able to work weekends. Typical day is 9am until 5:30pm. Goldworks, the leader in fine jewelry on the Coastside of Half Moon Bay, is hiring for a trustworthy, dependable, organized, caring employee to help with Customer Service, Sales, and Showroom Upkeep. On site job only, no remote work. Since 1987 Goldworks has been a family-owned business specializing in a variety of fine jewelry products and services including designer collections, custom jewelry design, repair, diamonds, gemstones, appraising, as well as buying and selling of vintage estate jewelry. We are looking for a person who knows how to deliver outstanding customer service, has an eye for detail, great organization skills, wants to learn about fine jewelry, and contribute to a friendly neighborhood boutique. Key Accountabilities & Skills: * Excellent customer service as top priority. * Genuinely enjoy meeting and interacting with customers; and if you have a laid back yet motivated, positive attitude you'll fit right in with our team. * Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services and use this knowledge to build sales. * Commitment to building client relationships, increasing customer and brand loyalty through personal interaction. * Punctuality, flexibility, and dependability. * Organizational and light cleaning tasks to maintain and improve visual appearance of showroom and processes. * Set up and break down of the showroom each day. * Basic typing/computer skills, ability to learn and use POS software and navigate designer websites online. * Light marketing including knowledge of social media platforms, digital photography, and use of editing software such as Canva also helpful but not required. * Goal-oriented, with a desire to learn and expand. * Prior experience or credentials within the jewelry industry such as GIA not required but would be preferred.
