Full description of the position

Job Title: Manager, Sales Operations Location: Irving, TX Reports To: Director, Sales Job Summary The Manager, Sales Operations, serves as the operational backbone of PPAI's revenue ecosystem. This role manages the programs, processes, and execution of sales activities, while also driving efficiencies, optimizing technologies, and removing roadblocks to support revenue growth and diversification. Through data utilization, dashboards, and cross-departmental collaboration, the Manager increases business intelligence and ensures alignment of departments on execution of sales and membership goals and activities. Key Responsibilities Membership Administration - 30% *Oversee supplier, distributor, and business service membership operations including: * Receive new member applications and process through PPAI workflows * Review qualifications for alignment with PPAI's bylaws, requesting additional or revised documentation as necessary * Approve or decline member application consistent to PPAI guidelines * Support member-facing teams with member-related issues including but not limited to complaints, billing, and staff changes. * Renewals * Upgrades Tradeshows & Events- 25% * Oversee booth application, assignments, priority points, meeting rooms, and product pavilion management. * Lead implementation and utilization of tradeshow platform and tools. Sponsorship & Advertising Operations - 15% * Manage end-to-end sponsorship and advertising fulfillment across events and media. * Draft and execute contracts through HubSpot digital workflows. * Ensure compliance with legal and brand standards; partner with Marketing for deliverable alignment. Systems & Technology Integration - 15% * Support enterprise-level systems initiatives (ERP, HubSpot, NetSuite, future platforms). * Lead testing, implementation, and process design. * Collaborate with Sales, Finance, IT, Marketing, and Membership to optimize workflows and improve data accuracy. Team Leadership & Development - 10% * Manage and develop a team of three staff (2 Coordinators, 1 Administrative Assistant). * Ensure workload distribution, cross-training, and performance management. * Build scalable processes that enable growth in membership operations. Process Improvement & Data Utilization - 5% * Identify opportunities to streamline operations and reduce costs. * Enhance member and exhibitor experience through improved processes. * Develop dashboards and reporting tools to increase business intelligence and support executive decision-making. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) * Advertising sales revenue (vs. budget) * PPAI Expo booth and sponsorship revenue (vs. budget) * Membership retention and engagement (renewal rates and NPS) * Revenue diversification metrics (% of revenue) * Community engagement and participation levels (benefit utilization) * Successful execution of partnership initiatives (measured by partner satisfaction, retention, and/or revenue impact) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) * Advanced proficiency in ERP, HubSpot, NetSuite, MapYourShow, A2Z, and SAGE * Strong contract management and vendor negotiation skills * Expertise in membership administration at scale (supplier + distributor) * Demonstrated leadership and staff development capabilities * Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with Finance, IT, Marketing, Sales, and Events * Data-driven with ability to develop dashboards, test workflows, and optimize processes * Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Health savings account * Paid time off * Vision insurance Application Question(s): * What pay range are you seeking? * Travel is required for this position, are you willing to travel? * Are you local and willing to work onsite multiple days per week at PPAI HQ in Irving, TX on a hybrid remote work schedule? * How many years of experience do you have in Sales Operations? * How many experiences do you have in advanced proficiency in ERP, HubSpot, NetSuite, MapYourShow, A2Z, and SAGE?
