Position Overview We are seeking a driven, well-connected, and self-motivated Business Development Manager to bring new clients and projects into the Artisan Fabricators pipeline. This commission-based role is ideal for someone with a strong network in the retail, architecture, creative agency, or experiential marketing sectors who thrives in a fast-paced, design-driven environment. Your focus will be on identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities -- including retail and commercial interior buildouts, branded environments, event and experiential marketing builds, and display fabrication. Key Responsibilities * Identify & Prospect New Clients: Target and engage fashion/retail brands, creative agencies, architects, GCs, and other partners in need of custom fabrication services. * Pitch & Present Capabilities: Communicate our design-build value proposition through compelling presentations and conversations tailored to each client's needs. * Lead Generation: Proactively source and qualify leads through industry research, networking, referrals, and cold outreach. * Relationship Building: Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring repeat business and referrals. * Project Intake: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project onboarding and alignment with client goals. * Stay Industry-Savvy: Keep up with trends in experiential marketing, retail design, and fabrication to identify timely opportunities. Ideal Candidate * Proven success in business development or sales within one or more of the following industries: * Retail / Fashion * Creative / Experiential Agencies * Commercial Architecture & Interiors * Fabrication / Design-Build * Strong network of potential clients or referral sources in NYC or major U.S. markets. * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management abilities. * Understanding of custom fabrication, design-build processes, or experiential production is a plus. * Able to work independently with a high level of professionalism and integrity. Compensation This is a commission-only position with uncapped earning potential. Commission is paid on a percentage of project value for every new client or project successfully brought in. Bonus structures and incentives may be available based on performance.
