Job Summary: The primary responsibility is working with the management company, your counterpart in revenue, general managers and sales teams to drive premium top line revenues with the end result of exceeding targeted revenue goals / RevPAR. This includes developing new accounts, maintaining and maximizing existing accounts, training, motivation and supervision of sales and catering teams to create sales, the marketing strategies, and the annual sales plans. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Revenue Management. Direct Selling * Identify and manage regional accounts with opportunity to bring incremental revenue to multiple hotels for all segments. Communication Skills * Professional with excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills. Leadership Skills * Lead and motivate teams and facilitate group meetings, direct multiple projects simultaneously. * Conduct on-site hotel visits in conjunction with the priorities set by the company. Meet with the General Manager to outline the objectives of each visit, and expectations for follow-up. * Uncover information about each key competitor hotel client base and key sales personnel. * Responsibilities include monitoring segment production, Review and understand metrics and data included in a variety of reports to ensure maximization of revenue. Review monthly financial reports and monitors hotel budgets to ensure all revenue opportunities are being taken advantage of. Problem Solving Skills * Assess any given situation, considering cost, time management, company resources and company integrity, and make strong and valuable decisions. Ensure timely and efficient responses to requests. Creative Skills * Innovative and identify opportunities for improvement and problem resolution in a diverse and complex business environment. Presentation Skills * Develop, and make presentations with targeted messages in various settings, to a diverse audience. Computer Skills * Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Office, PowerPoint, and Excel. Be the company expert in using all brand sales resources and hotels' sales software system (STS, Delphi, etc..). Additional Responsibilities * Create, design, or implement training and development programs to enhance employee knowledge. * Generate and maintain a positive, professional working environment. * All other duties assigned by the Management Company. Work Environment You create your work environment at home and manage the environment in our hotels to create the sales experience.
