Company Overview EZ Industrial Equipment, based in Hooksett, NH, is a supplier of wastewater evaporation and drying systems for industrial and commercial applications. We are committed to developing new products and services to sell into our strong customer base throughout North America. The Role We are seeking a motivated sales leader to run sales operations in a hybrid player-coach role. Ideal candidates will have experience selling industrial equipment B2B, ideally water and wastewater treatment systems. Candidates must have a proven track record of growing sales, managing a sales team, and creating a high-performance culture. The Director of Sales reports to the President of EZ Industrial and will be responsible for executing on the company growth strategy. Since this is a lean organization backed by the resources of a larger related business, this is the senior operations leadership position and is responsible for the company's full P&L. The position offers flexibility to work remotely from the home office. Some travel required. Responsibilities * Management of EZ Industrial sales/service personnel according to best management practices including but not limited to using metrics to monitor performance, incentivizing team appropriately, implementing performance enhancing tools and technologies, and making personnel decisions based on individual performance and needs of the organization. * Leverage relationships in industrial markets including but not limited to industrial manufacturing, food & beverage, mining, metals, energy, pulp & paper, landfills, etc. to generate interest in EZ Industrial's wastewater treatment systems and services. * Both directly and by leveraging sales/service personnel, proactively cultivate existing EZ Industrial customer relationships to uncover new opportunities at those facilities. Actively seek out referrals from current accounts. * Working with the Marketing team, assist with updating and generating new marketing content to drive interest in EZ products. * Cultivate rep firms and other channel partners to extend EZ's commercial reach. * Both directly and by leveraging sales/service personnel, generate proposals, coordinate bench sample testing, process orders, provide customer support and other sales operations tasks. * Diligent post-sale follow-up and account management to ensure customer satisfaction, repeat business, and cross-selling opportunities. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience. * Must be a self-starter who is driven to find and win business. Should possess leadership qualities such as, an "always-on" approach to your work, likeable personality, leads by example, and a "can-do" attitude. * Experience in a technical sales role with a proven track record of success selling water or wastewater treatment equipment into the manufacturing and process industries. * Experience in a sales leadership role is a strong plus * Must have a sincere desire to learn, and an appreciation for high customer satisfaction.
