Job Summary - Sales Representative Knife River Mountain Region is seeking a motivated and customerfocused Sales Representative to support our readymix concrete and aggregate operations in the Boise, Idaho market. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to begin a career in sales, learn the construction materials industry, and grow into roles of increasing responsibility. The role provides structured training, handson experience, and opportunities for longterm advancement within the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Support the development and maintenance of customer relationships with contractors, developers, and supply houses * Assist with inside and outside sales activities for readymix concrete and aggregates * Follow up on project leads and gather basic project information * Prepare quotes and bids using company software under supervision * Coordinate with internal teams on scheduling, pricing, and delivery needs * Provide general customer support throughout the project lifecycle * Participate in training to build product knowledge and industry understanding * Maintain compliance with all Knife River safety policies Minimum Qualifications * High school diploma or GED required; additional education or coursework in business, construction, or related fields preferred * Prior sales, customer service, or construction experience helpful but not required * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to learn technical information and apply it in customer interactions * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks * Proficiency with standard business software applications Compensation and Benefits Knife River offers a comprehensive benefits package available after 60 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
