Role Overview We are seeking a Sales Assistant to support our Sales Executives and Account Managers with daily operations, showroom preparation, client communications, and administrative tasks. This role plays a critical part in enabling the sales team to focus on growing relationships and closing deals. You'll help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes--and be an integral part of our sales success. Key Responsibilities Showroom & Market Support * Assist with showroom appointments and preparation * Organize, prepare, and maintain showroom samples, ad and photography samples * Ship samples to clients, maintain sample logs coordinating incoming and outgoing * Prepare for weekly sales meetings Sales Operations & Reporting * Maintain and update item line sheets and buy sheets * Generate weekly sales, inventory, import status, and open order reports * Provide Available to Sell (ATS) updates to clients * Track deliveries, sample requests, and follow up with internal departments * Review buyer orders to confirm style numbers, pricing, and delivery Account Support/ Administrative Duties * Communicate with Order Entry/Shipping, Buyers on POs * Send CADs/photos, TOPs, and past cancels reports as needed * Coordinate revised POs and manage CRM entries * Perform general admin tasks to support sales and account teams * Coordinate follow-ups, proposals, and order recaps * Ensure all product data is accurate and delivered on time * Communicate clearly and promptly with clients and cross-functional teams * Communicate with buyers regularly via email responding to their inquiries and requests. Qualifications * Previous experience in sales or a related field is preferred, with a focus on B2B or technology sales being a plus. * Strong understanding of account management principles and territory sales strategies. * Proficiency in CRM software, particularly Salesforce, is highly desirable. * Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients at all levels. * Demonstrated ability in lead generation and inside/outside sales techniques. * Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and identify opportunities for growth. * A customer-centric approach with a commitment to providing outstanding service. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
