*COUNTER SALES REPRESENTATIVE - KENILWORTH, N.J. We are currently seeking a Counter Sales Representative at our Kenilworth location to fill an immediate need with expanding growth & opportunity! - Hours are: 7:00am - 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch; Every other Saturday 8:00am - 1:00pm. Responsibilities: * Must have industry experience & knowledge of all plumbing material salary is dependent on experience Counter sales representatives assist in the sales of plumbing counter merchandise and other products. They will be responsible to assist with all aspects of counter selling, including but not limited to customer service, product selection, inventory management, pricing labels, etc. The counter sales representative is also responsible for providing excellent customer service by answering phone calls, making inquiries and responding promptly to requests. Detailed job duties include: * Ensure that all sales are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures. * Maintain accurate records of customer transactions, including receipt of payment for goods received from customers. * Maintain inventory levels to optimize departmental efficiency. * Ensure the proper use of equipment as required by law or applicable state laws/regulations. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the office and in the field. * Work with branch personnel to ensure great customer service from the order to the delivery. * Build professional relationships with customers. Qualifications: * Problem solving, listening skills and have a growth mindset. * Ability and willingness to learn new skills. * Strong communication skills, Spanish speaking is a plus. * High School degree or equivalent required. Physical Requirements: * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at times. * Must be able to work in all weather conditions. * Ability to move around the warehouse and climb ladders safely. Work Environment/Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods as well as the ability to lift 50-75 pounds. While mainly standard hours are scheduled for this position, 7AM-5PM, Mon-Fri. Flexibility at times is required to be able to ensure all orders and job duties are completed by the end of every shift.
