Full description of the position

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Route Sales Representative to join our team. At Ardex, we act as Professional Reconditioning Consultants to help our customers get the most out of our products. You will be responsible for delivering our professional-use products established clients along designated routes as well as to find new opportunities. Your primary objective will be to maintain excellent customer relationships, increase sales revenue, and ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. Ardex formulates and produces an extensive array of professional automotive detailing products right here in the U.S.A at our Philadelphia plant. Drawing on decades of experience, we supply everything from the finest to some of the most economical products on the market today. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Customer Service: * Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers on the designated route. * Regularly visit clients to ensure their needs are met, products are being used correctly and efficiently, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. * Introduce new products and promotions to customers, showcasing their benefits and advantages. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any concerns promptly, striving to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction. Product Delivery: * Load and unload products onto your truck in a safe and organized manner. * Deliver products to customers according to established schedules, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. * Maintain appropriate stock levels and inform the management of any inventory shortages or issues. Sales Reporting and Documentation: * Accurately record and document sales transactions, delivery details, and customer interactions. * Provide regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends. Route Planning and Time Management: * Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel costs. * Follow a pre-established schedule while accommodating last-minute changes and urgent orders. * Manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines and complete administrative tasks. Safety and Compliance: * Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while operating delivery vehicles and handling products. * Comply with relevant traffic laws, ensuring safe driving practices at all times. * Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, conducting routine inspections and reporting any issues. Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus. * Bilingual, English and Spanish * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. * Proven experience in automotive detailing * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships. * Demonstrated organizational and time management abilities. * Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry moderately heavy loads (55lbs) * Familiarity with the local area and surrounding regions.
