Location: Boise, ID (field-based) Job Type: Full-time, W-2 Compensation: * Base salary: $55,000 (during training period) * Uncapped commission * On-Target Earnings: $90,000 -$120,000+ * Mileage reimbursement + phone stipend * Clear advancement path to Senior Rep / Sales Manager About the Role Smash My Trash Boise is hiring a Business Development Representative to grow our commercial customer base across construction, industrial, manufacturing, and logistics businesses in the Treasure Valley. This is an outside B2B sales role focused on route-based selling , long-term contracts, and measurable customer savings. The right candidate will be trained through a structured 3 -6 month onboarding and sales development program before being expected to perform independently. This role is ideal for someone who wants: * A real base salary * Serious commissions * A repeatable sales system * Long-term career growth, not a "one-off" sales job What You 'll Do During the training and ramp period, you will: * Learn Smash My Trash services, pricing, and value propositions * Understand waste reduction economics and compliance drivers * Prospect B2B accounts in a defined geographic route * Conduct on-site consultations and demonstrations * Build proposals and present savings-based solutions * Work alongside operations and drivers during live demos * Track activity, pipeline, and performance metrics * Participate in daily and weekly sales accountability sessions After training, you will: * Own and grow a defined sales territory * Close new recurring contracts * Expand existing accounts and multi-location customers * Maintain long-term client relationships * Consistently hit and exceed monthly sales goals Training & Development This role includes a formal, structured on-the-job training program lasting approximately 90 -180 days, which includes: * 4-day in-person onboarding with classroom and field training * Ride-along sales calls and live demonstrations * Pricing, proposal, and contract training * Daily sales accountability calls and funnel reviews * Weekly scorecards and performance feedback * Ongoing mentorship from experienced sales leaders New hires are not expected to perform independently or at full productivity during the training period. What We 're Looking For We are open to candidates who are experienced OR trainable , including career switchers with strong work ethic. Required: * Interest in B2B outside sales * Strong communication and organization skills * Ability to manage time and work independently * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred (not required): * 1-5 years of B2B, outside, or route-based sales experience * Construction, industrial, logistics, or services background * CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) Career Path This role is designed to grow.
