Duties * Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to attract new clients and expand existing accounts within the event industry. * Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements while maximizing revenue. * Coordinate with marketing teams to promote upcoming events through targeted campaigns, social media, and outreach initiatives. * Plan and oversee all aspects of event management, including venue setup, catering arrangements, decor, audiovisual needs, and guest services. * Upsell additional services such as premium packages, catering upgrades, or special amenities to enhance client satisfaction and increase revenue streams. * Manage budgets meticulously for each event, ensuring cost control while maintaining high-quality standards. * Collaborate with vendors, caterers, hotel staff, and other partners to ensure seamless execution of events from inception to completion. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and resolving issues proactively. * Maintain organized records of contracts, client communications, event details, and post-event feedback for continuous improvement. * Stay informed about industry trends in event marketing and management to innovate offerings and stay ahead of competitors. Experience * Proven experience in event sales or hospitality management within hotels, restaurants, or banquet facilities. * Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value contracts and upselling services effectively. * Extensive knowledge of event planning processes including logistics coordination, catering options, decor design, and audiovisual arrangements. * Familiarity with budgeting principles and experience managing financial aspects of events. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients and team members alike. * Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple events simultaneously. * Background in marketing strategies related to event promotion and client acquisition is highly desirable. * Experience working in a customer-focused environment that emphasizes guest services within hospitality or fundraising settings is a plus.
