Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating potential customers about solar energy solutions, assessing their needs, and providing tailored recommendations. As a Solar Consultant, you will play a crucial role in promoting renewable energy and helping clients make informed decisions that benefit both their homes and the environment. Responsibilities * Conduct in-person consultations with potential customers to discuss solar energy options. * Assess customer needs and provide customized solar solutions that align with their energy goals. * Develop and maintain relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional customer service. * Utilize Salesforce and other software tools to manage leads, track sales progress, and maintain accurate records. * Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to close sales effectively. * Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers. * Collaborate with the installation team to ensure seamless project execution post-sale. * Participate in community outreach events to promote solar energy awareness. Skills * Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the solar or energy sector. * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively. * Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships. * Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing sales processes. * Knowledge of technical sales concepts related to solar energy systems is a plus. * Ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively. * Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
