Technical Sales Representative We are looking for a driven and proactive Technical Sales Representative to play a key role in our company's growth. This position is ideal for an energetic and motivated sales professional who excels at developing new business opportunities and building strong, long-term customer relationships. While experience in industrial IoT, automation, or controls is a plus, the most important qualities for success in this role are sales drive, relationship-building skills, and the ability to understand and communicate technical solutions effectively. About the Role As a Technical Sales Representative , you will focus on converting leads into long-term customers by helping them understand how our solutions fit into their operations. You will work closely with the Sales Manager to align with company objectives and provide valuable insights into customer needs and market trends. Your input will also help shape marketing efforts by identifying high-quality leads and customer pain points. This role involves proactive outreach, frequent customer engagement, and strategic relationship-building. You will have the opportunity to visit key accounts, attend industry trade shows, and become an expert in how customers use our products. With strong performance, this position offers the potential for career growth into sales leadership. Key Responsibilities: * Proactively reach out to leads and develop them into customers * Conduct phone and email outreach to set appointments and follow up * Build relationships with key accounts through regular engagement and onsite visits * Understand customer use cases and identify future sales opportunities * Attend industry trade shows to network and generate leads * Travel up to one week per month for customer visits and events * Utilize Salesforce CRM to track opportunities, ensure timely follow-ups, and maintain accurate data Ideal Experience & Qualifications: * Proven success in technical sales or B2B sales * Strong outbound sales and prospecting skills * Ability to build and maintain meaningful customer relationships * Experience managing leads and follow-ups in a CRM (Salesforce preferred) * Knowledge of industrial IoT, automation, or controls (preferred, but not required) Who You Are: We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic sales environment.
