Job Summary We are seeking a Director of Sales to lead our sales department and revenue initiatives. This role involves driving revenue through proactive outreach, cultivating new business relationships, conducting site tours, and engaging with the local business community. The Director of Sales will also be responsible for forecasting, promotional planning, and maintaining close communication with the property's General Manager. Responsibilities * Solicit, negotiate, and secure both new and repeat business * Actively promote room sales through outside calls, telemarketing, and site visits * Lead, train, and manage the sales activities through collaboration with above property sales team and on-property sales contributors * Achieve or exceed budgeted revenue per available room (REVPAR) * Develop and execute the property's annual marketing and sales strategy * Monitor market trends and adjust sales efforts to optimize occupancy and revenue * Ensure front desk and other team members are informed about key accounts and business details Requirements * Experience with hotel sales automation tools including Lighthouse, Demand360, Delphi, STS * Strong communication and negotiation skills * Deep understanding of market segments and competitive landscape * Motivated team player with a results-driven mindset * Problem-solving abilities and resilience under pressure * Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively * Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly * Ability to communicate effectively with clients at all levels while providing outstanding customer service. * Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods * Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Training & Development: This organization is committed to professional growth, offering structured training programs and clear career advancement pathways.
