Here at ALKCOOL, we are looking for an organized, outgoing on-site Facebook salesperson. In this position, your daily role is a mix of marketing, customer service, and logistics. Here's a breakdown of typical duties and responsibilities: 1. Product Management * Listing items: Take clear photos, write detailed and honest descriptions, and set competitive prices. * Updating inventory: Remove sold items promptly and refresh stale listings so they stay visible. * Researching market trends: Check what similar products are selling for and adjust your pricing/strategy. 2. Customer Interaction * Responding to messages: Quickly answer buyer inquiries about price, availability, and pickup/delivery. * Negotiation: Handle offers professionally--decide when to accept, counter, or decline. * Building trust: Maintain polite, consistent communication to encourage positive reviews and repeat buyers. 3. Marketing & Promotion * Boosting visibility: Share listings in local buy/sell groups if allowed. * Highlighting selling points: Rotate product photos or update titles to attract attention. * Cross-promotion: Suggest related items to increase sales per customer. 4. Logistics & Fulfillment * Coordinating pickups or deliveries: Schedule safe and convenient meetups or arrange shipping (if enabled). * Packaging items: Ensure products are packed securely for shipping or presentation. * Tracking shipments: Update customers with tracking info if shipping through Marketplace. 5. Financial Management * Handling payments: Collect cash, verify digital transfers (Zelle, PayPal, Marketplace checkout, etc.), or track in-app payments. * Recording sales: Keep a log of sales, expenses, and profits. * Managing refunds/returns: Handle disputes professionally to avoid negative ratings. 6. Reputation & Compliance * Maintaining profile credibility: Encourage satisfied buyers to leave reviews. * Following Facebook policies: Avoid restricted/prohibited items and misleading descriptions. * Monitoring fraud/scams: Stay alert for fake buyers or suspicious payment methods. -Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred -Administrative or clerical experience preferred -Computer proficiency -Organizational and time management skills -Calm and professional appearance - after sales service network building, daily equipment claim call, equipment maintenance and repair arrangment and feedback Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Health insurance * Mileage reimbursement * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
