Position Overview: We're seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to drive growth in the NYC market by building and maintaining relationships with commercial electrical contractors. This role focuses on field sales -- calling on contractors, job sites, and offices to provide pricing, technical support, and responsive service. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial and union electrical contractors * Identify new business opportunities and manage existing accounts * Partner with inside sales and operations teams to ensure accurate orders and on-time delivery * Conduct on-site visits and product presentations * Stay current on product lines, market trends, and competitive pricing * Collaborate with management to meet and exceed sales goals Requirements: * Minimum 3-5 years of outside sales experience in the electrical distribution or related industry * Established relationships with NYC commercial electrical contractors (Local 3 experience a plus) * Strong communication and negotiation skills * Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation What We Offer: * Competitive base salary plus commission * Company vehicle or car allowance * Health benefits, 401(k), and paid time off * Supportive team environment with growth potential If you're a motivated sales professional who knows the NYC commercial electrical market and takes pride in delivering real value to contractors, we'd like to talk to you.
