This Sales Applications Engineer Position Features: * Direct Hire * Field Sales Position * Electrical Engineering * Great Pay up to $80,000/year The Client is a leading provider of solid-state power conversion systems supporting aviation, defense, commercial, and industrial sectors. The Client specializes in the design and manufacture of 400 Hz, 28 VDC, 270 VDC, and combination AC/DC ground power units (GPUs) and advanced power technologies used by customers worldwide. ?? Position Overview The Sales Applications Engineer connects technical solutions with customer needs. This role supports the full sales process by delivering application expertise, product configuration guidance, technical demonstrations, and customer-focused engineering support across aviation, defense, and industrial markets. ?? Key Responsibilities * Serve as the technical specialist for The Client's power systems, including 400 Hz converters, 28 VDC GPU solutions, and combination AC/DC power units. * Support sales teams by preparing technical proposals, recommending configurations, and aligning product solutions with customer requirements. * Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and training to customers and partners. * Evaluate customer needs and ensure compatibility with The Client's product lines. * Collaborate with engineering to develop specialized or custom solutions. * Assist with RFP responses, cost estimates, and sales documentation. * Provide post-sale technical support in coordination with service personnel. * Participate in trade shows, customer site visits, and technical briefings. ?? Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related). * 2-5 years of technical sales, applications engineering, or solutions engineering experience--preferably in power systems, aviation, aerospace, or industrial electronics. * Strong understanding of electrical power systems or industrial power equipment. * Excellent communication and customer-facing skills. * Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed. ??
