Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to lead our business development team. This key leadership role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and preserving the integrity of the Curtis Wagner brand. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and lead the business development team, setting clear goals and performance metrics. * Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve top-line growth and market expansion. * Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients and partners. * Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align brand promotion and business development strategies. * Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions. * Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the business development team. * Prepare and present regular reports to executive leadership on business development metrics and progress. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. * 7+ years of experience in business development or sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. * Proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing successful business strategies. * Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs in the plastic manufacturing industry. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work collaboratively across departments and at all levels of the organization. * KEY Requirements: * Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is often preferred. * Experience: 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing. At least 3 years in a leadership or management role. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing successful business strategies. * Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the industry in which the company operates (e.g., plastic manufacturing, consumer goods). Familiarity with Supply chain dynamics, market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. * Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Experience in setting goals, performance metrics, and conducting performance evaluations. * Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, market trends, and business opportunities. Ability to develop and implement effective business strategies aligned with company goals. * Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with clients, stakeholders, and team members. * Strong presentation skills to convey business strategies and performance metrics to executive leadership. * Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate contracts and build relationships with clients and partners. * Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify challenges and develop practical solutions to drive business growth. * Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs. * Technical Skills: Proficiency in business software tools (e.g., CRM systems, data analysis tools) and Microsoft Office suite.
