We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the GSA Business Development Director. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving growth and developing strategy while expanding our business through effective management of our GSA contracts, and on state, municipal, and educational sectors. You will be instrumental in shaping the future success of our organization. Responsibilities: * Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for GSA contracts, state, municipal, and educational sectors to drive revenue growth. * Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through GSA contracts, state, municipal, and educational procurement processes. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the GSA, state agencies, municipal entities, and educational institutions. * Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procurement processes. * Stay abreast of changes in GSA policies, state, municipal, and educational procurement trends to inform business strategy and decision-making. * Lead negotiations and contract discussions with government clients in various sectors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization. * Provide leadership and guidance to a team of business development professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture. * Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs across GSA, state, municipal, and educational sectors to identify business opportunities and risks. * Represent the organization at industry conferences, events, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients. * Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to GSA, state, municipal, and educational business development efforts. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. * Proven track record of successful business development, with a focus on securing GSA contracts, state, municipal, and educational business opportunities. * In-depth knowledge of GSA schedules, state, municipal, and educational procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements. * Strong understanding of federal, state, municipal, and educational government contracting. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team. * Ability to analyze market trends, assess business opportunities, and make strategic recommendations. * Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. * Relevant certifications (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) are a plus. Experience: * Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, with a focus on GSA, state, municipal, and educational sectors. * Proven experience in successfully securing and managing contracts in these sectors.
