About Us Brandvocacy is a next-generation brand management and licensing platform. We acquire and build lifestyle brands, then scale them through partnerships with best-in-class licensees, global manufacturers, and digital-first retailers. We are seeking a Vice President of Business Development to lead licensing growth across fashion, apparel, and lifestyle categories. This is a hands-on role in a lean, high-growth environment, ideal for someone who thrives on independently building pipelines, negotiating deals, and driving revenue. Responsibilities * Source, develop, and close new licensing partnerships across apparel, activewear, accessories and related categories. * Build and manage a deal pipeline from the ground up, from prospecting and outreach through negotiation and execution. * Lead negotiations of term sheets and licensing agreements, with the ability to redline and refine contracts directly to accelerate deal flow. * Actively leverage your network of licensees, manufacturers, and distributors to identify and secure opportunities. * Evaluate white space across categories and channels (e-commerce, marketplaces, social commerce, retail). * Collaborate with Brandvocacy leadership to align licensing strategy with each brand's positioning and global growth objectives. * Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and brand meetings, serving as the face of licensing for our portfolio. Qualifications * 7+ years of licensing or business development experience in fashion/apparel or lifestyle categories. * Proven track record of independently sourcing and closing multi-million-dollar licensing deals. * Skilled in contract negotiation, with hands-on experience redlining and refining agreements. * Deep network of licensee/manufacturer contacts across apparel, footwear, accessories, or home. * Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and comfortable operating without the infrastructure of a large corporate platform. * Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
