Full description of the position
Overview Rex Environmental is hiring an Area Sales Manager to build and grow a referral partner network in assigned territories. This is a sales-forward role with a clear mandate: develop 100+ partner accounts and create lead flow for environmental inspections and water-loss pre-checks. Your core partner list You'll prospect and build referral relationships with: * Restoration companies (top 100 targets) * Abatement contractors * Plumbing companies * Remodeling and general contractors These relationships should result in formal agreements for referring environmental tests, mold inspections, bio-hazard, air quality, asbestos checks and water-loss pre-inspections. What you 'll be doing * Meet and secure owner-level referral agreements with 100+ companies in your territory * Build direct relationships with decision makers and keep accounts active * Educate partners on Rex services, what qualifies for referral, and the referral process * Track all meetings, agreements and partner activity in the CRM * Follow up consistently, protect partner relationships, and grow lead volume month over month * Share progress, wins, and blockers during weekly sales calls * Ask for referrals clearly and professionally, always driving toward agreements What success looks like here * 100+ verified partner accounts in your CRM * 100+ owner-level meetings completed * Confirmed referral agreements in place * Partners actively referring inspection and water-loss pre-check opportunities to Rex * Clear, accurate, real-time notes and next steps inside the CRM What we 're looking for * 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience * Comfortable talking to owners, negotiating agreements, and building referral partnerships * Experience with restoration, abatement, plumbing, or contractor networks is a strong plus * Consistent with follow-up and accountability * Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally inside assigned territories * Self-driven, proactive, reliable What you 'll get * Base salary plus commission on referred and closed business * Travel reimbursement for approved territory routes * Full onboarding into partner conversations and CRM expectations * A role that directly influences territory revenue growth * A sales-driven culture where production and relationships matter To apply Send your resume with a short note about your experience working with contractor, restoration, or referral-based sales partnerships.
