We are looking to fill a retail sales representative in Aurora, CO, is responsible for providing excellent customer service, driving sales, and maintaining the store's appearance and operations. This is an entry-level position that doesn't typically require previous experience, though it's often preferred. Key Responsibilities and Duties The core duties of a retail sales representative focus on customer interaction and store maintenance. * Customer Service : Greet customers, engage with them to understand their needs, and provide recommendations. This includes answering questions about products, services, and promotions. You may also handle customer complaints and resolve issues to ensure a positive shopping experience. * Sales and Merchandising : Drive sales by applying effective selling techniques and being knowledgeable about the products. This can also involve maintaining organized and visually appealing displays, restocking shelves, and ensuring all merchandise is correctly priced. * Operational Tasks : Perform daily operational duties like processing transactions at the register, managing inventory, receiving shipments, and cleaning and organizing the sales floor and stockroom. You may also be responsible for opening and closing the store and following loss prevention procedures. Required Skills and Qualifications Successful retail sales representatives possess a combination of soft and hard skills. * Communication Skills : The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members is crucial.
