Overview of Role: Reports to: Installation & Sales Manager The Field Sales Specialist is responsible for driving new garage door and screen installation sales for a defined territory within DGD's existing coverage area. A core member of DGD's Sales Team, the Field Sales Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring DGD customers receive design options for garage doors and screens that reflect the latest trends from leading industry brands. An ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong time management abilities, sales acumen, and a solid understanding of the garage door industry. What You'll Do: As a Field Sales Specialist at DGD, you will be responsible for the following: * Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers * Performing detailed site inspections at customer homes and helping customers design garage doors and screens that align with current trends * Preparing and delivering sales proposals that highlight DGD's unique product offerings * Identifying and generating new leads through networking, prospecting, and referrals * Understanding and staying up to date with industry topics, products, and pricing * Collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful delivery and installation of sold products * Meeting or exceeding monthly sales quotas and goals * Maintaining accurate and timely sales records and activity reports Skills You Need: * Proven track record of success in an outside sales role * Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales goals * Strong customer service and communication skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software * Ability to proactively collaborate with other teams across the business * Microsoft Office experience (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) * Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in a high-growth home services business * Excellent communication skills with the ability to think creatively and innovatively * Knowledge of garage door products, services, and pricing * Exhibit excellent organizational and time management skills Benefits at Discount Garage Doors: * This position offers highly competitive compensation package * Opportunities for growth and professional development * Customized company vehicle * Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance * 401(k) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Company car * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Paid training * Vision insurance Experience: * Field Sales: 3 years (Preferred) License/Certification: * Driver's License (Required) Work Location: On the road
