Learn more jti.com Trade Marketing Representative The Trade Marketing Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by executing tailored sales and merchandising programs across retail accounts within a defined territory. This role combines field-based account management, strategic planning, and in-store execution, including product placement, promotional activity, and retailer engagement. It requires frequent travel (25-75%) and includes activities such as analyzing sales data, managing stock and orders, negotiating sell-out agreements, and monitoring market trends Key Responsibilities: * Plan and prioritize store visits using sales data and customer importance. * Execute marketing programs, negotiate volume agreements, and ensure product placement aligns with planograms. * Provide strategic insights, track competitor activity, and guide retailers on tobacco category management. * Maintain merchandising standards and support with inventory management when needed. * Record and evaluate performance using internal tools like Synergy Qualifications: * High school diploma (post-secondary education preferred) * 3+ years of experience in FMCG sales * Strong communication, selling, and analytical skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Synergy is a plus * Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs, climb ladders, and install signage What We Offer: At JTI Liggett, we are proud to be recognized as a Top Employer and awarded the Global Equality Standards certificate, continuing our commitment to equal pay and equal opportunities.
