We are looking for active Sales Representatives to staff our new RMU (retail merchandising unit) at the Denver International Airport who can start as soon as possible. We sell Colorado front range honey, honey candies, and bee-based skincare. We've been in business since 2014 and are excited to find great Representatives for this unique sales opportunity. Sales Reps. would need to: * Be willing to travel to the Denver International Airport for work and go through the employee security checkpoint at TSA with employee badge on-hand * Complete airport employee badge testing * Be able to pass a 10 year FBI background check without any felonies, including those for marijuana, in order to get an employee badge * Own a cell phone * Have reliable transportation to the Airport (We will cover the cost of the employee parking lot for the first month and then after that employees can choose either an eco-pass or a permanent spot in the employee parking lot, both of which we would cover.) * Be able to engage with potential customers and give tastes of honey and samples of other Bjorn's products throughout the shift * Run a POS system and handle cash * Keep track of inventory throughout the day and request restocks, as needed, from the on-sight warehouse * Lift up to 20-pound boxes on inventory * Be able to stand for 8 hours with breaks. Our Sales Reps work by themselves and are responsible for bringing customers into the RMU area and engage them with the honey and skincare products by offering samples and talking about the benefits of our offerings. We are looking for outgoing, warm and talkative Reps with a talent for sales and compelling customers to learn about our brand. The Denver International Airport is the 6th busiest airport in the country and has affluent travelers from around the nation and world. With this type of traffic, there are plenty of opportunities for sales. We always sample all of our honey varieties, candies, and skincare and encourage the customer to try everything. By allowing the customer to sample our offerings, they can be confident that they will walk away with a delicious and healthy Colorado-made, small-batch treat that makes a lovely gift or souvenir. The starting pay is $19.29/hour plus 10% of sales in commission at a $25/hour commission cap plus Tips. After 6 months of work, Reps. are eligible for a potential salary increase. There is an opportunity for an additional increase after 1 year. Our RMU will be open every day from 7 am to 9 pm except Saturdays when the RMU closes at 7 pm. There are shifts available each day of the week. In general, the shifts are morning (from 7 am to 2 pm), and then afternoon/evening (2 pm to 9pm).
