Expotel Hospitality services is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Director of Revenue. Please note: this position is located inthe Metairie, La corporate office. The Corporate Director of Revenue Management is responsible for maximizing room revenue through the development and implementation of effective inventory management and pricing strategies for multiple hotel properties. Examples include establishing strategies designed to increase top-line revenue, support sales and operations teams with associated revenue management issues, and participate in annual budgeting. The Corporate Revenue Manager will create forecasts and conduct on-going competitor price/product analysis to ensure competitive rate positioning and product offerings at each hotel. Education & Experience: * A minimum of at least 2 years of hotel revenue management experience * Bachelor's degree, preferably in economics or statistics, but others considered. * Strong analytical, time management and oral/written communication skills * Savvy computer skills with heavy emphasis on Microsoft Excel and in-depth understanding of tools-spreadsheets, statistical methods for analyzing data * Ability to prepare reports including data visualization * Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor * Demonstrate ability to lead by example * Ability to work well under pressure * Passion for excellence and exceeding expectations and self-motivation * Ability to travel when necessary Desirable qualifications: * Front Office and/or Revenue Manager experience at a full service hotel. * Multi-Unit property management experience. * In-depth knowledge of computer systems relative to the Hotel/Restaurant industry. Essential: (partial List) a. Maximize RevPAR by analyzing past trends and future demand forecast to set/adjust sales strategies designed to increase market share, RevPAR growth and optimize market mix b. Generate daily, weekly, monthly revenue management reports and facilitate weekly revenue strategy meetings with GMs c. Maintain historical data from all distribution channels, in all market segments d. Analyze and optimize distribution channels for maximum benefit of penetration e. Develop, implement, monitor and control rate strategies and develop action plans to counteract market changes f. Manage property participation and production through 3rd Party Internet sites and other distribution channels g. Update and change restrictions, allotments and rates on a daily basis h. Analyze and identify trends and use this knowledge to implement revenue maximization strategies i.
