Jax Tree Removal is a tree removal company that services Duval, St Johns, Clay and Nassau counties in Jacksonville Florida. Our services include aerial lift, climbing, and grapplesaw crane tree removals, tree trimming, stump grinding, storm cleanup, and land clearing. Jax Tree Removal currently has a full time Estimator / Operations Manager position available in Jacksonville Florida location for an individual with a strong work ethic who is able to work independently, enjoys learning new skills, and likes working for a respected company. Job description and responsibilities; The ideal candidate must: * Estimate, sell and coordinate commercial, residential tree removal. * Meet all sales objectives. * Have excellent communication, multitasking, organizational and math skills, be able to proficiently use email, relevant programs and technology. * Have a complete knowledge and understanding of company tools, skills and practices, equipment specifications and limitations. * Maintain a clean, neat appearance whilst working. * Manage appointment schedules each day through our technology, travel to customers ' properties. At the property, meet with the customers to discuss what work they would like to have completed and conduct a site evaluation for time, equipment and personnel requirements. Prepare estimates and send to Company Clients for their approval via our programs. * Receive leads from any source including phone calls, text messages and emails, input Clients information into software, schedule appointments. * Schedule jobs according to size, equipment required and anticipated duration to maximize revenue. * Coordinate with staff, contractors and tree Crew Leaders to ensure jobs are completed properly, safely, on time and without damage to property and/or equipment. * Act as liaison between our tree crews and customers. * Coordinate day to day Operations. * Have a driver 's license with a clean driving record, pass a background check and random drug testing. * Use company credit cards, tools, equipment and vehicles appropriately and for the benefit of the company only. * Be a Certified Arborist (preferred). * Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in sales and estimating in the tree service industry, would have 10 years experience with tree removal work. * Have common-sense, be a team player, follow instructions, work independently and is highly trainable. * All other job duties requested by the Company which the employee has the appropriate skills for or is training for these skills. * Keep accurate records.
