True World Foods New York LLC is a premiere seafood and Japanese products distribution company with 24 locations nationwide. We specialize in supplying high-end restaurants and retail markets with Japanese sushi-grade products and services. We are currently looking for a result-driven experienced or entry level Sales Representative to provide complete and appropriate solutions for customers to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability. Responsibilities: * Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customers relationships. * Maintain regular communication with customers to provide up to date information regarding product availability, quality and prices. * Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis for existing and potential customers to meet their needs and maximize customer satisfaction. * Provide management with reports on customer leads, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. * Work cohesively with other departments, including Purchasing, Delivery, Production, Night Order and Customer Service to improve customer experience. * Regularly attend department and cross-function meetings to address sales and service issues. * Monitor customer payments to ensure their account stays in good standing. * Offer new products and services to customers as they become available. * Discover prospective new customers through means such as cold calling to achieve agreed upon sales target within the allotted time frame provided. * Guide new customers through the on boarding process such as the credit application. * Performs daily HACCP & sanitation related tasks as required. * Performs other duties as assigned. Skills: * Proven work experience and/or knowledge as a sales representative * Ability to analyze the territory/ market potential, track sales and status reports * Excellent communication, negotiation, and deductions skills * Ability to tailor presentations regarding the need of the customer * Highly motivated and target driven with good relationship management skills * Fluent in Japanese and/or Chinese Job Requirements: * Familiar knowledge of MS Office * Valid Driver's License * Willingness to learn Education Requirements: * High School Diploma * Associate's degree (preferred) * Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Work Schedule: * Schedule times may vary Supplemental Pay: * Commission Pay * Bonus Pay Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $60,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Ability to commute/relocate: * Elizabeth, NJ 07206: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Language: * Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean (Required) License/Certification: * Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person
