Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Sales and Estimator to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our project planning and client engagement processes, requiring a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction estimating, and project management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills, technical expertise in electrical work, and experience with construction site operations. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects within the construction industry, contributing to successful project execution from bidding through completion. Duties * Prepare accurate and comprehensive electrical estimates using HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and other estimating tools. * Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts to develop detailed cost proposals. * Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to negotiate terms and pricing that align with project budgets. * Utilize NEC standards and construction estimating best practices to ensure precise cost control and pricing strategies. * Assist in the development of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations. * Conduct site visits to assess project scope and gather necessary data for estimates. * Manage contract documentation and support contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors. * Coordinate with construction management teams to ensure estimates align with project requirements and constraints. * Monitor project progress and assist in change order management to control costs effectively. * Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory standards affecting electrical construction projects. Skills * Proficiency in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, NEC standards, and construction estimating software. * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and vendors. * Solid understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and site safety protocols. * Experience in construction estimating, cost control, pricing strategies, and contract management. * Knowledge of construction site operations and construction management principles. * Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. * Ability to analyze complex data sets and develop accurate estimates under tight deadlines. * Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills.
