Grow Nippon Express USA's business. Achieve revenue targets by securing business with new global customers and selling additional services to current global customers. Responsibilities: * Drive new regional and local account acquisition through a proactive hunting sales strategy across Air, Ocean, Warehousing/Distribution, Trucking, and 3PL services. * Sell international forwarding solutions directly to key decisionmakers across the U.S. market. * Expand new business opportunities--new lanes, commodities, suppliers, and end users--by building strong relationships with midlevel management and executive stakeholders within Semiconductor, Automotive, Electronics, and other verticals. * Consistently meet or exceed monthly revenue and profit targets. * Execute strategic sales initiatives by qualifying opportunities, identifying decisionmakers, and delivering customized logistics solutions. * Analyze competitive landscapes and develop strategies to overcome sales challenges and objections. * Assess product and service market fit based on evolving customer needs and requirements. * Establish trustbased, longterm relationships with new customers. * Build targeted prospect lists using market research, referrals, and sales leads. * Stay current on industry trends and emerging markets to drive continuous sales growth. * Partner closely with Regional Director/AGM, branch leadership, department managers, customer service, and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and support for new customers. * Annual Salary Range $90,000 - $120,000 Performance Metrics: * Meet or exceed monthly revenue and profit targets. * Complete weekly activity goals: minimum of 10 sales calls and 5 quotes; ensure timely CRM (Salesforce) updates. * Participate in bi-weekly sales meetings to review activity levels and closed opportunities. * Submit a monthly report detailing new business revenue and profit performance. * New business is defined as new customers, new lanes/commodities, or new shippers/consignees. * Reporting periods and evaluation of new business revenue and profit will be determined/evaluated by the Sales Director. Qualifications * Minimum of 3 years' proven new-business development experience within the freight forwarding or logistics sector. * Highly self-driven with a strong strategic mindset; adept at identifying key decision-makers and uncovering high-value opportunities. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead corporate discussions and present effectively to Csuite executives. * Demonstrated capability to close deals by identifying and nurturing both short and longterm business opportunities. * Advanced negotiation skills with proven success in structuring and finalizing commercial contracts and operational processes. * Only applicants that meet these minimum qualifications will be considered General Requirements: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business administration, economics, or a related field * Possession of a valid state driver's license * Demonstrated strong communication and collaborative skills * Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment * Experience working within complex workflows involving multiple stakeholder reviews and approval levels Organization Relationships: Will work with all levels in the organization.
