Full description of the position

Toews Asset Management is a 30-year-old, boutique asset management firm whose primary goal is to help advisors tackle the most pressing portfolio challenges with innovative risk mitigation strategies in the marketplace. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with financial advisors, develop expertise in asset management, and prepare for potential advancement into external wholesaling or other growth roles within the company. Responsibilities * Partner with your designated territory team to develop and execute a business plan that maximizes sales. * Build and maintain strong relationships with Financial Advisors, RIAs, and industry partners. * Make proactive outbound calls to prospect new advisors and identify sales opportunities. * Schedule quality appointments for external wholesalers with producing or high-potential RIAs. * Serve as a product expert on Toews' Model Portfolios, Mutual Funds, and ETFs. * Assist financial advisors in analyzing client financial information to recommend appropriate strategies. * Consistently execute 100+ outbound touches per day to drive engagement and growth. * Be present in the NYC office at least 4 out of 5 days each week to foster collaboration, training, and team culture. Skills & Qualifications * Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive, driven mindset. * Strong sales acumen and consultative business development skills. * In-depth knowledge of Model Portfolios, Mutual Funds, and ETFs. * Proven ability to build and strengthen relationships with advisors and their staff. * Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills. * Existing relationships within the RIA and financial advisor community (preferred). * Education & Licensing: * Bachelor's degree required (MBA or designations such as CFA, CAIA a plus). * 2+ years of financial services sales experience. * FINRA Series 7 and 63 plus Series 65 (or 66) are required within 3 months of hire. We prefer licensed candidates. Compensation & Benefits * Base Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 (+incentive bonus.
