Sales Associate & Key Carrier - All Departments Location: Builders Surplus of Louisville

Compensation

: Hourly + Commission on All Sales Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Sales Associate & Key Carrier to join our team across all departments , including doors, windows, in-stock kitchen cabinets and countertops, bath vanities and faucets, flooring, tile, and more (kitchen Design a bonus). This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in sales, customer service, or home improvement who is ready to contribute to a fast- paced and growing retail environment. Commissions are paid on all sales!

Key Responsibilities

:

• Serve as a key carrier , assisting with store opening, closing, and daily operations
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory across multiple departments
• Assist with ordering merchandise and support the store manager as needed
• Stock shelves and ensure displays across departments are clean, organized, and visually appealing
• Provide exceptional customer service , guiding customers in selecting products and making purchases
• Demonstrate product knowledge across departments: doors, windows, kitchen and bath products, flooring, tile, and more
• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and warehouse equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment
• Follow all safety protocols and operational guidelines

Qualifications

:

• Previous experience in sales , customer service , home improvement, or a related field
• Knowledge of our products , special order processes, and installed sales
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
