Full description of the position

The following areas of responsibilities will include, but are not limited to an Outside Dealer Sales Representative of Metro Auto Auction: * Visit dealers to foster and maintain working relationships * Provide weekly sales and marketing schedule to Manager * Partner with dealers to consign vehicles * Confirm reserved numbers before weekly sale * Assist the set-up of lanes * Walk consigned vehicles prior to auction * Assist with any last-minute adjustments or changes * Weekly coordination of vehicles * Maintain dealer inventory including lights and lows * Communicate as necessary to procure inventory * Confirm and coordinate reconditioning work * Confirm vehicles are set to run (on spot) prior to sale * Prepare sale lists for each dealer prior to sale * Monitor sale results * Provide all necessary post sale reports * Thorough understanding of automotive industry and trends Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor's degree preferred * 1 - 3 years outside automotive sales experience * Active or proven book of business with automotive dealers * Ability to meet with top decision makers and develop unwavering dealer relationships * Valid Texas driver's license with good driving record and reliable transportation * Ability to communicate effectively * Big picture outlook with an ownership and team player mentality * Demonstrates a "can do" attitude * Exceptional analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills * Ability to prioritize, follow up, and multi-task * Superb organizational and time management skills * History of good attendance, punctuality and stable work history * Demonstrates good manners and exemplary customer service behavior * Bilingual English/Spanish Job Type: Full-time Ability to commute/relocate: * The Colony, TX 75056: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: * Automotive sales: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: * Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person
