We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Roofing Service Sales Manager to join our growing team and drive our service sales initiatives. Job Summary The Commercial Roofing Service Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of service sales within a defined territory or market segment. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets for roofing service agreements, repairs, and maintenance programs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of commercial roofing systems, excellent sales acumen, and proven leadership skills. Key Responsibilities * Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve and exceed service sales targets and revenue goals. * Bid Service Work: Proactively identify and bid service work meeting company goals. * Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with commercial property owners, facility managers, property management companies, and general contractors. * Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive * Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Accurately forecast sales, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and results to senior management. * Team Collaboration: Work closely with the operations, project management, and field service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. * Technical Expertise: Maintain a strong understanding of various commercial roofing systems (e.g., TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, Metal), repair techniques, and industry best practices. * Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for the company while maintaining client satisfaction. * Customer Service: Address client inquiries, concerns, and ensure a high level of customer service throughout the sales process and beyond. Qualifications * Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years specifically in commercial roofing service sales or a related building services industry. * Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, common issues, repair methods, and maintenance programs. * Sales Acumen: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas and developing new business. * Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. * Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse clients. * Self-Motivated: Highly organized, self-disciplined, and able to work independently and as part of a team. * Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Travel: Ability to travel locally or regionally as required to meet clients and attend industry events. * Valid Driver's License: Required. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with estimating software specific to roofing. * Certifications in roofing industry associations (e.g., NRCA). * Experience managing a small sales team or mentoring junior sales professionals.
