About the Role As an Inside Sales Specialist, you'll be a key relationship-builder for Dakota Riggers--supporting new and existing customers across rigging, safety supplies, material handling, and related product lines. You'll provide top- tier service, process orders, manage quotes, and collaborate closely with our outside sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure every customer receives accurate, timely support. What You 'll Do * Maintain and grow sales within an assigned customer portfolio through proactive outreach and relationship management * Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate product information, pricing, and availability * Enter and process orders within our ERP system while ensuring accuracy in quotes, documentation, and fulfillment * Recommend additional or alternative products based on customer needs and project requirements * Partner with internal teams to support seamless order execution * Follow up on open quotes and backorders to drive conversions and keep customers informed * Assist walk-in customers at the front counter * Stay current on product knowledge, vendor updates, and industry trends * Troubleshoot issues and escalate challenges when needed * Support inventory management, including returns, stock checks, and cycle counts * Uphold Dakota Riggers' safety, service, and professionalism standards What You Bring * Experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related role (preferred) * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Excellent attention to detail and follow-through * Ability to learn technical product information and apply it to customer solutions * Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities * Computer proficiency; ERP/order-entry experience is a plus Work Environment * Full-time onsite role in an industrial distribution/warehouse setting * Occasional lifting or movement of product materials * Professional engagement with customers, vendors, and internal teams What We Offer * Competitive compensation and benefits * Growth and advancement opportunities * A supportive, team-focused culture grounded in craftsmanship and exceptional service
