Position Summary: This is an exciting opportunity for a new VP of Marketing & Sales to shape and elevate our brand presence across the state of Nebraska. This role will ensure our brand stays at the forefront of culture, creativity, and customer experience. The VP of Marketing & Sales will oversee brand strategy, creative, organic social, influencer marketing, PR, and brand experience. A key focus will be building lasting brand positioning that reinforces our leadership in the Hospitality & Gaming industry, while also driving agile, dynamic storytelling in social and influencer channels. You will lead and inspire a high-performing in-house creative team to deliver innovative campaigns that connect authentically with customers and build cultural relevance. This role will be central to our next chapter of growth, elevating creative excellence and brand resonance across every touchpoint. Status: Full-time | Salaried | Corporate Office Location: Omaha, NE | Onsite | In-Person position at Main Office Travel Time: 10% to 20% travel within the state of Nebraska Responsibilities: *Brand Strategy & Positioning: *Define and evolve our brand positioning, Lead the development of culturally relevant campaigns, creating platforms that extend across the customer journey, tailored for different audiences and stages while maintaining consistency and cultural resonance. Activate and lead customer research and insights to inform positioning, messaging, and creative development, ensuring our brand connects authentically with customer needs and motivations. Develop creative strategy and testing, translating insights into tailored activations that connect authentically with each audience. * Creative & Content: Translate brand positioning and campaigns into creative activations that bring our story to life across every touchpoint. Oversee a high-performing creative team producing impactful assets across digital, social, in-practice, video, front end web, etc. Elevate creative excellence by inspiring innovation, encouraging testing of new ideas, and building a culture where creativity and accountability thrive together. * Social & Influencer Marketing: Own our social strategy, ensuring content is timely, engaging, and aligned with brand positioning. Build and scale a measurable marketing program that drives both cultural relevance and business impact. Enhance the marketing program defining clear objectives, compensation models, and performance metrics. Ensure community management, engagement, and social channel health are proactive, responsive, and brand-consistent. * PR & Brand Experience: Own our PR strategy, driving earned media, thought leadership, and event visibility to ensure the brand shows up in the right community conversations and reinforces its category leadership. Partner with operations and client experience teams to ensure our brand experience is consistent across in-practice, digital, and social touchpoints. *Leadership & Team Development: *Build and inspire a high-performing brand organization, recruiting top talent across brand, creative, and social media. Foster a culture of fun, curiosity, innovation, and operational excellence where creative ideas thrive and accountability is clear. Operate as an enterprise leader, partnering across functions to align strategies, influence outcomes, and drive our success, leading not just through results, but through how you show up, building trust, creating connection, and inspiring people to bring their best selves to work. * Other Duties: Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives Qualifications: * High school education or equivalent (e.g., GED) required * Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combination of education/experience combined (one year of experience equals one year of education) required * Minimum of eight years of experience in brand, creative, or integrated marketing with a minimum of two years in an executive leadership capacity required * Proven success developing and executing brand positioning strategies that build long-term equity while fueling growth required * Deep expertise in creative leadership, from directing in-house teams to delivering culturally relevant, high-impact campaigns required * Strong track record in social and influencer marketing, with experience building scalable, measurable influencer programs tied to business outcomes preferred * Experience aligning brand with customer experience, ensuring consistency across physical and digital touchpoints required * Fluency in leveraging trends, cultural insights, and customer research to inform creative strategy and testing required * Comfort using AI and modern content production tools to scale efficiency while maintaining excellence required * Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, with a track record of inspiring creative talent and developing careers required * Experience partnering cross-functionally with performance marketing, operations, and people teams to amplify brand storytelling across the enterprise required * Benefits Include: * Medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance * PTO * paid holidays * 401k retirement plan All potential employees will be required to successfully pass a pre-employment background check before employment.
