Join Our Team as a Business Development Officer! Are you an experienced professional in banking with a passion for building strong client relationships? Our Littleton team is seeking a skilled Business Development Officer to join our team and play a pivotal role in expanding our portfolio. Primary Responsibilities and Duties: * Assist in conducting market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities. * Attend networking events and meetings with and without senior team members to build industry contacts, with the goal of establishing new relationship (consumer and business) opportunities for the Bank. * Gather and analyze data on market trends, competitors, and customer needs. * Support the branch team in reaching out to potential clients. * Prepare and assist in the delivery of presentations to prospective clients. * Participate in meetings and follow up on client inquiries under the guidance of senior team members. * Help promote the bank's products and services to new and existing clients. * Assist in developing marketing materials and content for client presentations. * Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the bank's products and services. * Assist in the achievement of team sales targets by supporting the sales process. * Help track and monitor sales activities and results. * Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory standards. * Assist in maintaining accurate records of client interactions and transactions. Qualifications: * Strong ethical values and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus. * Must have at least 1-3 years in sales, customer service, relationship management, or a preferably within the financial services sector. * Basic understanding of banking products and services. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet lending targets. * Proficiency in financial analysis tools, credit scoring models, and Microsoft Office Suite. * Familiarity with lending regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices. Relationships: * Responsible to the Market President for the fulfillment of functions and responsibilities. * Will have extensive contact with customers, the public and the community and is to conduct relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall image and reputation of the bank. * Will be called upon from time to time to participate with community organizations and in community projects.
