Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Office Manager to support daily accounting and administrative operations in our busy dealership office. This individual will assist with processing payroll, posting transactions, reconciling schedules, and ensuring accuracy in dealership financial records. Responsibilities: * Assist Office Manager with daily accounting functions and end-of-month close * Process payroll, benefits, and employee onboarding documentation * Post and reconcile accounting schedules (vehicle sales, repair orders, warranty, floorplan, etc.) * Assist with title and DMV paperwork as needed * Maintain vendor files and assist with 1099 reporting * Support dealership management and department heads with administrative needs Qualifications: * Previous automotive dealership accounting experience preferred * Strong organizational and multitasking skills * Proficient in CDK, Dealertrack, or similar DMS * Accuracy and attention to detail are a must * Excellent communication and teamwork skills Benefits: * Competitive pay based on experience * Health, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) with company match * Paid time off and holidays * Career growth within the Schumacher Auto Group Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
