Overview

: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Residential Landscape Salesperson / Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential landscape design, sales, training, estimating, and project management. This role requires a visionary leader who can manage the projects on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Design and Planning :
• Oversee and participate in the creation of innovative and sustainable landscape designs.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice and creative solutions.
• Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and aligned with company standards.
• Sales and Business Development :
• Develop and implement sales strategies to attract and retain residential clients.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall company growth.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service and follow-up.
• Estimating :
• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for residential landscape projects.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure project budgets are adhered to. Project Management / Interaction with the Project Manager :
• Oversee all phases of landscape projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

:

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Business Management, or comparable experience in the field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential landscape design, sales, estimating, and project management.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
• Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and Microsoft Office Suite or comparable experience in the field.
• Knowledge of local horticulture, landscaping materials, and construction techniques.
