Territory Sales Representative - Industrial Equipment Location: Springfield, Missouri (Territory-Based) Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Territory Sales Representative to manage and grow business within the Springfield, Missouri region. This role focuses on selling industrial compressor systems and related equipment by building strong relationships with end users, contractors, and distributors. The ideal candidate combines technical curiosity with a consultative sales approach and thrives in a territory ownership role. Key Responsibilities * Own and manage a defined sales territory centered in Springfield, Missouri * Develop new business through prospecting, cold outreach, jobsite visits, and industry networking * Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers, including end users, contractors, and channel partners * Promote industrial compressor systems, parts, service offerings, and related equipment solutions * Conduct site visits to understand customer applications and recommend appropriate solutions * Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales presentations aligned with customer needs * Collaborate with internal engineering, service, and operations teams to ensure accurate solutions and successful installations * Track opportunities, pipeline activity, and forecasts using CRM tools * Meet or exceed sales targets while driving long-term territory growth * Stay informed on market trends, competitor products, and customer demands within the industrial equipment space Qualifications * 3+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial equipment, compressors, HVAC, manufacturing, or related industries * Proven success managing a geographic territory and closing new business * Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills * Ability to understand technical products and communicate value clearly to customers * Comfortable traveling locally within the Springfield and surrounding Missouri territory * Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business software Preferred Experience * Experience selling air compressors, vacuum systems, or industrial mechanical equipment * Background working with manufacturing plants, industrial facilities, or mechanical contractors * Familiarity with distribution or dealer-based sales models What 's Offered * Competitive base salary plus commission or incentive plan * Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable) * Autonomy to manage and grow a regional territory * Support from technical, service, and operations teams * Opportunities for long-term career growth within an industrial manufacturing environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Travel reimbursement Work Location: Hybrid remote in Springfield, MO
