CGC Custom Bytes Computers is Louisville's fastest-growing custom PC builder and computer retail store. We specialize in custom gaming PCs, computer repairs, and consumer & business IT services. We are expanding our sales team and are looking for a highly motivated sales professional who understands both sales and gaming culture. Position
Overview
We are seeking a strong sales closer who can confidently handle high phone call volume, inbound leads, walk-ins, and objection-based selling. Ideal candidates will have sales experience from fast-paced industries such as automotive, wireless carriers, insurance, or high-volume retail. Knowledge of PC gaming and computer hardware is required , as this role involves recommending builds based on customer needs, budgets, and desired performance.
Responsibilities
- Answer and manage a high volume of inbound phone calls, texts, emails, and walk-in leads.
- Ask qualifying questions to understand customer needs (games played, performance, budget, etc.).
- Recommend appropriate PC builds, upgrades, services, and financing options.
- Handle sales objections confidently and professionally.
- Close deals both in-person and remotely.
- Follow up with leads through CRM systems and sales processes.
- Maintain knowledge of product lineup, gaming performance differences, and pricing.
- Provide excellent customer service before and after the sale.
Required Qualifications
- Strong sales background (auto sales, wireless/carrier, furniture/appliance, or similar preferred).
- Experience handling objections and closing high-ticket sales.
- Experience with high call volume environments.
- Self-managed, reliable, and disciplined work ethic.
- Must be a gamer -- knowledgeable about PC gaming hardware, common titles, and performance needs.
- Excellent communication skills (phone, text messaging, and in-person).
- Ability to learn product specs, financing programs, and pricing quickly.
- Professional, respectful, and customer-focused attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates who speak fluent Spanish and English (bilingual) are strongly preferred.
- Previous experience selling computers, electronics, or tech.
- Familiarity with GPUs, CPUs, RAM, SSDs, FPS performance, etc.

- Full-time position with set weekly schedule.
- Base pay plus commission structure (explained during interview).
