Commercial Insurance Agent Pacific Crest Lakewood is an established and fast-growing Independent Insurance Agency in Riverview, Florida. We are expanding our commercial lines division and are seeking a Licensed Commercial Insurance Agent who is highly knowledgeable in commercial insurance and thrives in a hunter-style sales environment. This position will operate on-site in our Riverview office, working closely with our team to aggressively grow our commercial book of business.

Responsibilities
New Business Production (Hunter Focus)
- Proactively prospect, cold call, and reach out to commercial businesses to build a strong pipeline and produce new commercial accounts.
- Generate opportunities through outbound solicitation, networking, industry targeting, B2B outreach, walk-ins, and referral development.
- Conduct in-person or virtual meetings with decision-makers and present tailored insurance and risk-management solutions. Sales Execution & Relationship Management
- Provide immediate follow-up on all agency-provided leads, inbound requests, and client referrals.
- Evaluate commercial clients' exposures, risk profiles, and financial needs; propose customized protection plans.
- Deliver professional guidance to business clients to ensure their risks are properly managed. Account Management & Operations
- Maintain accurate and organized records for prospects, new business, and renewals in the agency management system.
- Work with inside commercial account manager to prepare quotes, manage submissions, negotiate terms, and close new business.
- Support smooth onboarding for new commercial accounts and ensure a high-quality service experience.
- Maximize growth and client retention through consistent communication, follow-through, and proactive service.
What You Bring

Qualifications
)
- Proven track record and work experience in commercial insurance sales/production (required).
- Strong understanding of key commercial lines including: BOP, Workers'
Compensation
, Commercial Auto, General Liability, Property, Umbrella, EPLI, and related coverages.
- Demonstrated hunter mentality -- fearless on the phone, comfortable with cold outreach, and highly driven to close business.
- Must be organized with excellent time-management skills and the ability to multitask.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex coverage concepts clearly.
- Minimum 3 years of P&C experience (required).
- Commercial insurance experience (required).
- Life & Health license (preferred but not required).
- Experience with agency management systems (preferred).
Compensation

Benefits
- Base Salary: $75,000
- 30% New Business Commission
- 30% Annual Salary Bonus for meeting production milestones

- PTO & Vacation Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
