Global Talent Nexus is hiring a full-time Marketing & Sales Assistant in Shepherdsville, KY on behalf of our client. This role combines customer-facing retail sales with professional coaching and brand strategy execution.
About the Role
: As a Marketing & Sales Assistant, you'll work under the direct guidance of a Corporate Trainer to master your client's local territory, product knowledge, and sales approach. You'll engage customers in-store, drive product awareness, and be responsible for executing proven sales scripts that convert interest into loyal customers. This is a field-based retail sales position with scheduled in-office training and product briefings. Local travel is required , so a reliable vehicle is a must.
Key Responsibilities
:
- Execute sales strategies and product presentations inside retail partner locations
- Use approved sales scripts and rebuttals to guide customer conversations
- Build strong customer relationships that increase client retention and repeat business
- Participate in team sales meetings, product updates, and coaching sessions
- Support the Corporate Trainer with territory performance, compliance standards, and reporting
- Maintain knowledge of all client products, services, and promotional campaigns
- Travel locally within Burr Ridge and nearby areas to retail locations
Requirements
:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or marketing preferred (not required)
- Full-time availability including some weekend shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (local travel is required)
- Highly coachable and performance-driven with a desire to grow
Compensation
& Schedule:
- $50,000 - $65,000 annually, based on experience and performance
- Weekly in-office sales meetings, daily retail hours (approx. 40-42 hours per week)
