Position Description The Sales Associate supports the marketing and sale of used equipment, trucks, parts and machinery by managing online listings, engaging with customers, and assisting with inventory needs. This role is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized, and enjoys building strong customer relationships. Major Areas of Responsibility * Create detailed, compelling descriptions and online postings for used equipment, trucks, machinery, and parts across multiple sales platforms. * Manage online sales activity, including responding to inquiries, updating listings, and coordinating transactions. * Conduct local sales calls and inperson visits with established customers in the Omaha area to strengthen relationships and drive new business. * Assist with inventory assessment, pricing recommendations, and customer consultations. * Collaborate with internal team members on sales strategies, lead followups, and process improvements. Minimum Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is helpful but not required. * Basic mechanical aptitude with familiarity in engines, heavy machinery, or vehicles. * Strong interest in construction equipment, semitrucks, hirail vehicles, and the railroad industry. * Excellent written communication skills for producing clear, accurate product descriptions. * Outgoing, proactive, and selfmotivated attitude with strong interpersonal skills. * Comfortable using technology, including online listing platforms and CRM tools (training provided). * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local customer visits. * Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment and adapt within a growing company.
