Full description of the position

Our client company was founded in Orlando over sixty years ago and began with just the founder and two employees. They manufactured concrete block three days a week and delivered block three days a week depending on demand. The founder's spouse was technically a fourth employee, but she was not on the payroll. She would spend Florida days without air conditioning, sitting in her car doing the bookkeeping because they had no office. As time went on, they conservatively grew their business from one plant to five plants under a single roof. This successful team worked together for over fifty-two years. Now, the company is managed by the third generation of the family with ten other locations besides Orlando. The company has an immediate need for a Territory Sales Manager to be largely home based in the area around the company's Wildwood office. Will cover both Sumpter and Marion Counties. Ideal Candidates Are: You are an innovative and strategic thinking sales professional. You have a professional demeanor and are comfortable meeting and interacting with stakeholders and presenting to groups. You have the emotional intelligence to read the room and adapt accordingly. You have sales experience in either the Concrete Industry or Construction- related industries. Or you are someone who can ramp up quickly to a new industry. You are comfortable engaging with Owners, General Contractors, Project Managers, Superintendents, and Quality Control teams. You are transparent and desire to be in a culture of open communication; and to be a team player. General Duties: * This role is responsible for making our client the preferred supplier of Ready-Mix and Block-related materials to the market. * In this role you will grow revenue with existing customers and identify other market leads and opportunities. You will cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with customers and other industry players. * You will prepare quotes and submittals. * You will actively monitor and manage business opportunities, participate in preparation of sales forecasts, and ensure timely communications and reporting. Compensation & Benefits: * Competitive compensation.
