Beyond 2020 Vision Specialists is seeking a performance-driven Optical Sales/ Optician to join our private practice. This role is ideal for a motivated, patient-focused professional with a strong ability to convert comprehensive eye exams into eyewear and contact lens purchases while delivering an elevated optical experience. Qualifications * Minimum 2 years of optical retail experience * Proven success in sales conversion and capture rate * Strong knowledge of lens options, prescriptions, frame styling, and insurance benefits * Ability to confidently sell high-end frames and lens upgrades Key Responsibilities * Convert eye exams into eyewear and contact lens sales through consultative selling * Read and interpret prescriptions; recommend appropriate lenses, coatings, and materials * Explain vision insurance benefits clearly and accurately * Style and dispense frames based on facial features, lifestyle, and prescription needs * Take precise measurements (PD, seg height, fitting height) * Adjust, fit, and troubleshoot glasses and contact lenses * Process optical orders, shipments, invoices, and lab trays accurately * Deliver exceptional in-person, phone, and electronic customer service * Collaborate with the team to maintain productivity, flow, and patient satisfaction Success in This Role Requires * Strong closing skills and confidence presenting AR, progressives, second pairs, and sunwear * Excellent product knowledge and follow-up/problem-solving ability * Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude with patients and staff If you are passionate about eyewear, sales excellence, and providing a premium patient experience, we invite you to apply and join our growing private practice.
