Our ideal candidate has the following: * 2 years automotive Sales Management experience (USED CAR MANAGEMENT PREFERRED). * Strong Take Charge leadership attitude with a record of team building. * Knowledge of the local market and auctions. * Excellent customer service skills. * Confident and outgoing personality. * Professional appearance and great communication skills. Responsibilities * Meet monthly forecast for used car sales volume sustaining sufficient gross to meet profit objectives. * Create and organize all sales activities for the Used Car Sales department. * Ensure that salespeople are informed of all used inventory and current advertising efforts including rebates and incentives. In addition build rapport with them and assist with their sales. * Appraise all incoming used vehicles. * Ensure that cosmetic and mechanical reconditioning is performed within the dealership's cost and time limitations. * Establishes and controls wholesaling activities. * Work with General Managers to forecast monthly sales expenses. * Enhance customer satisfaction during the entire purchase experience. * Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company's Values in all interaction with the customers, co-workers and vendors. * Partner with the Financial Services Department to develop and coordinate best practices for the most efficient and effective sales approach. * Performs other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications * 2 years of Automotive Sales Management experience (USED CAR MANAGEMENT PREFERRED). * Proficient at operation a personal computer including Microsoft Office: Excel and Word. * ADP Dealer Services Experience a plus. * Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. * Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written. * Strong take charge leadership attitude with a record of team building to include requiting, training and motivating. * Excellent customer service skills. * Knowledge of the local market and auctions. * Real attitude with high-energy personality. * Ability to work well in a process driven environment. * Professional appearance and work ethic.
