Position Summary
The Account Advisor is a commission-only based role (no caps) including per new account opening bonus and car allowance plus opportunity for incentives. Coverage Area of Weiser, Payette, Fruitland, Parma and Emmett plus surrounding areas. Must live in this territory - ideal candidate would live in Emmett or Weiser and have existing on/off premise account relationships. Responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of on-premise and off-premise accounts through consistent execution, relationship management, and sales discipline. This role serves as the primary point of contact between Freedom Beverage Distributing and its customers, ensuring proper product placement, availability, pricing compliance, and ongoing account support. Account Advisors report to the Sales Director and operate as frontline representatives of the Freedom Distribution portfolio in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Sales Execution
- Manage a defined territory and assigned account list.
- Maintain regular call frequency and disciplined route planning.
- Present, sell, and execute approved product portfolios and supplier priorities.
- Secure placements, features, displays, and menu listings where applicable.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with account decision-makers. Order Management & Coordination
- Write accurate orders in alignment with account needs, inventory levels, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate closely with Operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Communicate out-of-stocks, substitutions, and delivery issues proactively.
- Follow company procedures for credits, breakage, and returns. Portfolio & Brand Execution
- Ensure products are properly displayed, rotated, and merchandised where applicable.
- Educate accounts on portfolio offerings, pricing structures, and new product launches.
- Execute supplier programs, incentives, and sales initiatives.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends within assigned territory. Performance & Reporting
- Track individual sales performance against goals and targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM or sales system data as required.
- Provide feedback to the Sales Director on account opportunities, challenges, and competitive insights.
- Support forecasting and sales planning efforts. Professional Standards & Compliance
- Conduct business in compliance with all federal, state (Idaho), and local alcohol distribution regulations.
- Maintain pricing integrity and adherence to company policies.
- Represent Freedom Beverage with professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
- Maintain safe driving practices and proper conduct while in the field.
Qualifications
- Experience in beverage alcohol sales preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with strong time-management and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
- Willingness to learn and represent a diverse beverage portfolio. Work

- Flexible schedule including evenings and occasional weekends.
